Vietnam Trip - Day 1

Hanoi, The Capital city of Vietnam, is the first city I visited during my Vietnam Trip.

Ho Chih Minh was the great Vietnamese leader who contributed to the Independent of Vietnam.

People of Vietnam are very respecting Ho Chih Minh. They build a Mausoleum to keep Ho Chih Minh body and allowing public to visit the body.

You can imagine how their respect toward Ho Chih Minh when the security at the Mausoleum is more stricter than at the airport.

After visit the Mausoleum of Ho Chih Minh, we then walk around at the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Hanoi's Old Quater or some people called it 36 street is the oldest continuously developed area of Vietnam.

You can find a lot of souvenir in Old Quater especially in Dong Xuan market which is the largest market in Hanoi. You can get a very cheap price here if you know how to bargain with the seller.

One thing I like about Vietnam is the Beer. Beer is very cheap here compare to Malaysia. Tiger Beer is only 9000VND which less than RM 2.00. I sure I will become a alcoholic if I stay any longer here.

Vietnamese like to have their meal at the street sides. Foreigner like me will think this is not hygiene but for Vietnamese, this is just a routine.

After a cyclo tour around Old Quarter, we then watch the water puppet show. Water puppet show is one of the traditional art performance of Vietnam.

After a long tired day walking around Hanoi, we spent our night in a train heading to Lao Cai. The first day at Vietnam really tired and we doesn't have the chance to get shower.

Homestay at The Mulberry Peaceland, Lumut Perak

We had a very enjoyable 2 days trip at Lumut. All this thanks to Mr Wang Tao (王涛), the owner of the Mulberry Peaceland (憩园桑林) Homestay.

The house is a British Style house which was build during the British colonial era

Although the house is old but it is very spacious and comfortable to stay.

This room called 'Juliet and Romeo'. I wondered why Mr Wang Tao give this name cause Juliet and Romeo is such a sad love story and I think no one will actually want to be like Juliet and Romeo after staying this room.

The house also have a very big backyard

When I wake up in the morning and walk around in the backyard, the feel was so great. I just sat at the tree and look to the sky, it was relaxing. Thanks to Mr Wang Tao again for arrange such a wonderful trip.

I had conquered Bukit Ungku Busu

I heard people said Bukit Ungku Busu is not very hard to climb, so I decided to give it a try.

But when I was climbing it, I think those people was lying to me

It not easy at all

I almost faint on the half way

But with the help of my friends

I finally make it to the top and the feeling was damn good.

After this climb, it really had give me a big motivation to me for the next climb. But before that, I must train hard first to increase my stamina.

The Mangrove Forest Park of Lumut

The Mangrove Forest Park (Taman Paya Bakau) is another attraction of Lumut.

You no need to worry about getting wet or dirty while you are in the Mangrove Forest Park because they have a walk way for people to walk around.

In Mangrove Forest park, of course you can see a lot of mangrove tree but you also can see some animals which living in the mangrove forest.

For example like lizards, monkeys and crabs.

Please don't stay too near with the monkeys here because they are not friendly at all. They will grab anything from you which they think is food or water.

The park also have a hanging bridge.

Enjoy Sunset at Pantai Pasir Panjang, Perak

Just outside the Segari Turtles Sanctuary, there is a beach which you can watch sunset.

The beach is quite isolated and not many people will go there.

We went there on Saturday but still not many people were there. It like the whole beach is for us.

Hang out with some friends at beach on Saturday evening, the feeling is damn good.

However the sun was blocked by the cloud that day, so we didn't watch sunset as we wanted to

Although without sunset, the view is still beautiful like a paint.

Hopefully i can come back here again in future.

Pasir Panjang Segari Turtle Sanctuary, Perak

About 20KM from Lumut, there is a turtle breeding farm run by the Malaysia Department of Fisheries .

The sanctuary is open for public and the admission is free.

There are two type of turtle here, Green Turtle and Olive Ridley Turtle. You are allowed to touch the turtle here and if the officers are around, you might allowed to play with the turtles too.

The sanctuary provideing a safe place for baby turtles from their natural predators.

The numbers of turtles land on Pasir Panjang to lay eggs is become lesser, so the numbers of turtle eggs this sanctuary can collect also getting lesser.

Turtles are a very beautiful creature, can't imagine if one day this creature is no longer exist on our planet.

The sanctuary is located beside the beach and you can see an island from there which the shape really look like a turtle. Simply amazing

Famous Chee Cheong Fun of Teluk Intan, Perak

For those who like to eat 'Chee Cheong Fun', you should try the 'Chee Cheong Fun' here in Teluk Intan.

The most famous 'Chee Cheong Fun' here in Teluk Intan is 'Liew Kee (燎記) and also 'Sam Siao Ye (三少爷)'. The funny thing about the 'Chee Cheong Fun' here is it doesn't sell in the morning, it only available after 6pm. So if you want to have 'Chee Cheong Fun' for breakfast, I'm afraid you are not going to get it. This is what happened to us when we first arrived at Teluk Intan in the morning and we were told by the local it only open in the evening. However it doesn't stop us, we try again when we heading back to KL and finally the 'Sam Siao Ye (三少爷)' just about to open when we get there.

People mostly 'da bao' and bring back to eat but we was having there. Having 'Chee Cheong Fun' for dinner was kind of weired to me.

The 'Chee Cheong Fun' here is not like the one we usually see. They got mix something but I not sure what is it.

Incredible View From A Paddy Farm

After a short visit at Teluk Intan, we continue our journey to Lumut. We then stop by at one place when we were attracted by an amazing view - a very large paddy farm.

I like the view here, the paddy farm and the sky is the perfect match.

We all like it here very much untill we called ourself 'The Paddy Boys'

Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan, Perak

Leaning Tower is a place you must go when visiting Teluk Intan, Perak.

The tower is 25.5 meter high and it was built in 1885 by a Chinese contractor named Leong Choon Chong.

The opening hour of the tower is 8am to 5pm on weekdays and 9am to 6pm on weekend and public holiday.

I really can't believe I actually standing inside a building which over hundred years old.

The tower have total of 8 level but you only allowed to go up to the first few level

Although the tower is over hundred years old and leaning but it still very stable

Really amazing when they can build such tower hundred years ago.

Lukut Museum at Negeri Sembilan

There are nothing much you can do in Lukut except visit the Lukut Museum.

Lukut used to be an important tin mining area during the 19th century.

In the museum you can see a lot of historical things about mining in Lukut.

The museum is located at the hill.

You can go on the top of the hill and enjoy the view of Kota Lukut.

It has a very great view when you can see the whole Lukut area from the hill.

Lucky King Bun at Lukut

About 7 km from the seaside town of Port Dickson, there is a small town called Lukut. You can't find any white sand beaches but you sure can find some good food around here.

Lucky King Bun at the Lucky Lukut Seafood Restaurant is one of the food you must try here in lukut.

The special about this bun is not only because of the huge size

but the curry chicken inside the bun is making it so unique.

When you eat the curry chicken with the bun, the taste is just great.

They have medium size which cost RM 18 and a big one is RM 24. However what I want to advice is please don't eat the bun if only 2 person, or you will become very suffer just like me and my friend.

Eat Seafood at Pulau Ketam

It is not very far from Kuala Lumpur to Pulau Ketam. If you take Komuter from KL Sentral to Port Klang, it take about one hour.

From Port Klang, it take about another half hour to reach Pulau Ketam by ferry.

The ferry is just cost RM 7.00 per way

It can fit around 80 people and the ferry also have air-condition.

We went there on Labour day and it was damn lot of people.

Pulau Ketam basically is a fishing village, so don't expect you can find white sand beach or bikini girl walking around.

At Pulau Ketam, to rent a bicycle is quite cheap. Only RM 5.00 per day.

Here you can see a lot of crabs, i think may be this is the reason why it called Pulau Ketam.

Actually nothing much you can do here. You can walk around to see the fishing village and 1 day trip will be more than enough.

But one thing you must do here is to try the seafood.

You can find a lot of seafood here and it also quite cheap.

Army Museum at Port Dickson

If you are around Port Dickson, you can consider to visit the Army Museum which located next to a Malaysian Army Camp Port Dickson Based.

This museum is open daily and free admission to all visitors

All kinds of tanks, canons and aircraft are displaying outside the museum.

While inside museum, you can see the history of Malaysia Army from the Portuguese, British Colonial Era, Japanese Era untill the Malaysia Army of today.

The museum also have a tunnel which used by the communist.

The Army Museum is a great place to educate children. Its not only letting the children learn about our Malaysia history but also building patriotism among our kids.

As for me, I definitely is becoming more patriotic now and I'm ready to serve my country, protecting it from any kind of enemies.

Beach, Sunshine and Beer at Port Dickson

When we talk about Port Dickson, is all about white sand, sunshine except you hardly to find a bikini girl around here.

Port Dickson is a very good place to relax yourself.

We spend a night at Chola Beach Hotel in Port Dickson.

RM 70 for a room of 2 person and this is the cheapest room we can find here. The room is with air-conditioning but it doesn't have any TV and towel.

When it come to night at Port Dickson, there are nothing much you can do around here.

However, many people will come to the beach infront the Sun Shine Bay Resort for barbeque

Besides barbeque, beer also available here. Having beer in front of the beach is the best moment for me here in Port Dickson but just the music is too loud and I can't listen to the sound of the sea.

Yaki-Yaki Japanese Barbeque Buffet Restaurant is having 50% off promotion.

RM 75 for buffet dinner with 50% off, it do really attractive for me.

Yaki-Yaki have many choices of food.

When I first reach there, I really don't know where to start.

The food here also very fresh

Tempura, sashimi and all others food here looks so yummy and it really made me want to try it all,

But only trying the sushi here already making my stomach full

Looking at all these food on the table, I really feel I'm the most happy person in this world.

Food, Beer and Singing at Station 1, Pandan Indah

What a Saturday night when hanging out with some friends at Station 1, Pandan Indah.

Station 1 is a good place to hang out and have some drink during weekend but it definitely not a good place to have meal because they doesn't have many choice of food.

Reason why it is great place to hang out is because you can play cards and I can sit there for few hours because of these cards.

also people singing but it only avalaible during weekend

She not only having a good voice but also a sweet face.

Last is beer which making my Saturday night more wonderful

1st Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2009

The Malaysian Sport Aviation Federation (MSAF) and AKA Balloon Sdn Bhd had co-organised the 1st Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2009 on the 19th until 22nd of March.

There are total of 25 Hot Air Balloons and among the participated country are Australia, Belgium, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey and many more.

We reach there around 7.30 am and I still feel very sleepy

But there already have a lot of people waiting with their camera standby

Is not easy to blow a balloon especially these kind of big balloon.

You really need a big fan to blow it

and also a lot of fire

I was wondering when I can ride on one of these things

Is really beautiful to see all these colourful balloons flying in the sky

I doesn't feel sleepy anymore cause these balloon already open my eye wide.

Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia Trip - Day 5

Today is the last day at Indonesia. Can't wait to go home. I really miss our malaysia food so much, bak kut teh, chicken rice.........our Malaysian food is the best.

This Jakarta and Bandung trip really suitable for those who like shopping.

We came to Indonesia with one small bag but go back Malaysia with additional two big bags

While waiting for the plane, we go shop again at the airoport and see if can find some souvenir

Then waiting again

Finally the plane have arrived.

Goodbye Jarkata, Goodbye Indonesia, really going to miss you.

Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia Trip - Day 4

Today we begin our trip with walked around in the Jakarta City. Jakarta is a very huge city and it divided to Central, West, south, north and east Jakarta.

Today we walked around at the National Monument which located at the central of Jakarta.

The National Monument or "Monas" is one of the monuments built during the Sukarno era and It stands for the people's determination to achieve freedom.

After that, we wanted to go the Amusement Park at Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, Jakarta but it was too many people then we decided to go to seaworld to see shark.

Besides shark, the main attraction here is you can see Dugong which is hardly to see one in Malaysia.

and also Piranha

Finally today we going to eat food which we are familar with - Pizza Hut for lunch.

I not really like to eat Pizza but today I feel like it was damn nice to eat.

We went to shopping mall again after lunch. We went to the Mangga Dua and Mangga Dua Square and they are the biggest shopping Mall in Jakarta.

It was Sunday but seem like these shopping mall was not many people.

After a long tired shopping, we went for a Spa. 250000 rupiah for a Spa and I still feel tired after the Spa.

For our last dinner at Indonesia, it was bad and 8 people sharing a small fish.

Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia Trip - Day 3

After 2 days in Bandung, today we are going back to Jarkata. Before we back to Jakarta, we are going to Safari which located at Cisarua, Bogor Indonesia, about 3 hours from Bandung .

On our way to the 'Taman Safari', we had pass by Puncak. Puncak located at a cold mountain and you can find a very large area of tea garden.

People from Jakarta like to spend their weekend and on public holidays from the heat and busy streets of Jakarta at Puncak.

When we about to reach Safari Park, there are people selling banana and carrot. You can used these banana and carrot to feed animals at the Safari Park.

Animals from all continents roam freely in this 35-hectare park.

Taman safari is a drive through zoo and amusement park and the animals here will come to you for foods.

But you can't really feed all the animals here or you will become the food for some animals.

We visited the 'Taman Mini Indonesia Indah' when we reach Jakarta at evening.

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah was built to be the showcase of Indonesia.

You can see the various traditional houses of the different provinces in Indonesia like Bali and Sumatera.

After visited the 'Taman Mini Indonesia Indah', we went to another shopping at the Centre of Jakarta.

For dinner, our tour guide told us we will having seafood.

But the seafood dinner is only have fish, prawn and sotong and I was expecting more than that. Our tour guide really can't be trusted and this is how our day 3 trip ended with cheap seafood for dinner at Jakarta.

Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia Trip - Day 2

After a long tired 1st day, I was hoping that the 2nd day will be better. However we still need to continue to sit in the van without air-con for long hours.

We had visited the Mt. Tangkuban Perahu which is the Bandung's most famous tourist volcano.

The volcano is still alive and you can see the smoke is still coming out.

Then we heading to another volcano side but before we can reach there, we need to go for a jungle tracking

The water here is really hot and you can boiled egg with this temperature.

You not only can boiled the egg, you also can eat the egg but it taste bit weired.

We go for lunch after visited the volcano

The food here is quite nice and they also have 'satay' here.

After our stomach is full, we walk around the restaurant and I like it here because of it peaceful environment.

In the afternoon, we went to shopping again at some famous shopping street at Bandung like Cibaduyut street, Dago street and Cihampelas street.

We shop for the whole afternoon and then dinner at this 'Sindang Reret' restaurant

After dinner meaning is the end of day 2 at Bandung and we will back to Jakarta tomorrow.

Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia Trip - Day 1

The first day at Indonesia was tired, angry and boring. We arrive at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport at Jakarta around 12.00pm.

Our tour guide was there already but our van still on the way.

This is our tour guide and we called her 'Titi'. She just keep saying the van is on the way but we had wait for the van for more than 1 hour.

After stuck in the Airport for more than 1 hour. Finally our van came and we straight away went to lunch at this Restaurant called 'Rumah Gadang' which serving the famous 'masakan padang' at Indonesia.

This 'masakan padang' is a common food at Indonesia. However it not really suite my taste and some of the dishes i even don't know what is it.

After lunch, we should go to Safari but it was too late already so we straight away go to Bandung. The journey to Bandung was damn suffer when we have to sit in a small van with bad traffic and raining.

After suffered in the van for six hours, Finally we reach at Bandung. The 1st thing we did when we reach there is shopping.

If you like to shopping, Bandung is the place for you because there are many places for you to shop and the price also cheaper than Malaysia.

After tired shopping, then we went to dinner at 'Dapur Sangkuriang' which is quite famous in Bandung.

I like the enviroment and also the 'Sunda' music here

The food also is much more better that the lunch we had at 'Rumah Gadang'. After dinner we were then heading to hotel and this was the end of our day 1 trip.

First Flying Experience with Air Asia

I just came back from Jakarta, Indonesia last week. I went there with Air Asia and this is my first experience taking an aeroplane.

I was so excited until i can't sleep before the day of the flight

Boeing 737 and this is my plane

Although the food was expensive

The stewardess are not very pretty

and the seat also not very spacious

But I was very enjoyed the view from the plane

Especially the view which you can see the sky. Reali want to say thanks to Tony Fernandes. Because of him I now can fly.

Foong Foong Yong Tau Foo At Ampang

Restaurant Foong Foong at Ampang is very famous with Yong Tau Foo. We went there on Sunday and it already had a lot of people waiting there.

We had to wait for 10 minutes before there was a empty table for us.

However I think it was worth to wait .

because the Yong Tau Foo here is damn good.

The 'sui gao' here also not bad

You also must try their fried 'sui gao'.

Yong Tau Foo here is 80 cents per piece which I think is reasonable

Kheong Kee Bah Kut Teh at Pandan Indah

Bah Kut Teh is one of my famous food and Kheong Kee Bah Kut Teh is one of my favorite choice.

Bah Kut Teh here is not only taste good and I also like their service.

The food is deliver fast and environment also clean & comfortable.

There are quite a lot of meat inside and it is worth to eat.

A lot of people like to come here to eat Bah Kut Teh

Even famous singer and actor like Ah Mei and Roger Kwok also came here to eat.

They also have other foods like herbal chicken and curry chicken but the most important thing is the price here is quite cheap.

Jonker Walk and Dataran Sungai Melaka at Malacca

Jonker Walk is a street where you can find rich baba-nyonya heritage. The buildings are immaculately constructed with elaborate carvings on its pillars and walls.

The street is famous for its antique shops.

Traders also setting up stalls to sell all kind of products along the pedestrian street at Jonker Walk.

such as bag and cloths, antique copper coins, unique arts and crafts, souvenirs, ornamental jewelry, wooden clogs.

and other products associated with or reflect the cultural colours

Jonker street also is famous with Chicken Rice Ball.

The street is full of of shops and cafes selling a wide variety of foods and beverages.

The Geographer Cafe located at the middle of the street is especially known among the foreign visitors.

About 10 minutes walking distance from Jonker Walk, you can find the Dataran Sungai Melaka.

where you can take a ride on a boat to see around Malacca River

It have been changing a lot since I visited Malacca 10 years ago and Malacca is a great place to visit. I hope I can come back here again to taste the food here.

Visit to the Historic City of Malacca

Last year Malacca was inscribed as UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Sites. The influences of Asia and Europe have endowed Malacca towns with a specific multicultural heritage that is both tangible and intangible. With its government buildings, churches, squares and fortifications, Melacca demonstrates the early stages of this history originating in the 15th-century Malay sultanate and the Portuguese and Dutch periods beginning in the early 16th century.

Among the famous historical places in Malacca is the The Stadthuys which was the official residence of the Dutch Governor.

You will also find the Christ Church built in 1753 here, another fine example of the Dutch architecture.

Another attraction here in Malacca town is the trishaw.

St. Francis Xavier's Church was built in 1849 by a frenchman, Reverend Farve. The Gothic towered church is dedicated to St. Francis Xavier, well-remembered for his missionary work spreading Catholicism.

On top of St. Paul's Hill is the St. Paul's Church.

St. Paul's Church once was the prayer house of the Portuguese Catholics.

After the Portuguese captured Melaka, they built a fortress to defend themselves.

The fortress, called A'Famosa suffered severe destruction during the Dutch invasion.

What's left today is just the entrance walls, still well preserved till today.

Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball at Jonker Walk, Melaka

Jonker Walk （鸡场街文化坊）located in Melaka is famous with the Chicken Rice Ball. There are few Chicken Rice Ball shop and Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball is one of it.

Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball is not the most famous in Jonker Walk but we doesn't have much choice because all others chicken Rice Ball shop was so damn crowded with people.

We reach there around 6.10pm but they already ready to close shop and me and my friend was the last customer.

Although Hoe Kee is not the most famous but we still need to wait for long queue.

After wait for so long, the waiter said to us they only have chicken and Chicken Rice Ball, all others food was sold out .

We were so disappointed because we have to wait for long queue just for the Chicken Rice Ball and we feel it was not worth to wait.

The chicken here is quite nice but you also can find it in KL, the only difference is the shape of the chicken rice but the taste is just the same with what I eat in other places.

Although I find the chicken rice here is not that special compare to other places but many people still willing to wait for long queue just for the chicken rice ball.

I seldom back to my primary school since I graduated in 1995. Really miss those great moment where we play hide and seek together, peeped on girls skirt, chasing each other in school.

S.R.J.K.(c) Hwa Nan was my primary school and it did not change much since I leave the school.

They still keep the photo of my class. Can you recognise which one is me

I still remember how to sing my school song. I had sang this song every Monday for six year.

If you wanted to do a slam dunk, you can do it easily here but please always remember to wear a tighter pant.

I just an ordinary student back in the school. But I think the best thing I ever had in primary school is became the assistant class monitor when I was in standard 6.

This is the place where I played with my friends. The grass here was not as much as what you are seeing now compare with 15 years ago. It was cover mostly by sand. If you fall down sure you will hurt badly.

I wondering how many student will actually go and read all those word which hanging on the wall and pillar. For me I never bother it.

This is the most scary place in this school, 9 out of 10 student who went inside sure will come out crying.

Bullying seldom happened in my school because we kind of loving each other.

Cafe Pat Kin Pat Sun is one of my favorite cafe.

Food here is nice and the price also reasonable.

Badminton Malaysia Open Super Series 2009 at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil

Last week was the Malaysia Badminton Open Super Series 2009 at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil. I went there on Friday to watch the Quarter Final. This was the second Malaysia Open for me after the Malaysia Open 2008 last year which also held at the same venue. This year China pull out all their players including top men singles Lin Dan, Chen Jin, and women singles Xie Xin Fang. However other top players from Korea, Denmark and Indonesia was sending their player here. So it worth to watch also although without Chinese players. I bought the Upper Tier seat which cost RM 15, it is cheaper compare last year RM 28.

The game start at 6.00pm and I went into the stadium around 6.10 pm. I reach at Bukit Jalil 5.37pm but I have to wait for long queue to buy the ticket.

The game just started with mix doubles when I when into the stadium. Malaysia have 2 pairs in this event but both pair also lost.

Koo Kien Kiet & Ng Hui Lin Lost to Joachim Fischer Nielsen & Christinna Pedersen of Denmark straight set 21-9, 12-12

Hoon Tien How & Chin Eei Hui lost to Lee Yong Dae & Lee Hyo Jung of Korea also straight set 21-8, 21-12

Koo Kien Keat after he the mix doubles, he look unhappy. I wonder is it because of losing the game or tired.

Women singles have 2 representatives but both was lost to Hong Kong Player. Lydiah Cheah lost to Wang Chen 21-15, 21-10.

While Julia Wong lost to Zhou Mi 21-18, 21-14 in straight set.

Finally when Malaysia hero Lee Chong Wei show up on the court, the whole stadium was going crazy and everyone is screaming 'LEE CHONG WEI'. Lee Chong Wei was fighting Simon Santoso of Indonesia at the quarter final. Simon Santoso had gave Lee Chong Wei a hard fight by showing a very good defensive play before he eventually lost to Lee Chong Wei in rubber set 21-15, 16-21, 21-11.

This game is not only a game between the both player

It also a war involving supporter from both country

Another player in men singles who caught the attention of the people at the stadium is our Malaysian young player Daren Liew who against Peter Gade of Denmark at the quarter final.

Although he lost 21-12, 12-14 but Daren show a good fighting spirit in the game. He had showed a good attacking game however it is not enough to win the game. Peter Gade is too strong for him.

After men singles, it was women doubles which Wong Pei Tty & Chin Eei Hui is against Zhang Jie Wen & Yang Wei of China who came to Malaysia Open with own expenses. Our Malaysian pair lost 17-21, 21-19, 21-11.

Beside mens singles involving Lee Chong Wei. People here also waiting for the match between Koo Kien Keat & Tan Boon Heong and Lee Yong dae & Jung Jae Sung of Korea.

Although the Malaysian pair lost to the korean 21-13, 17-21, 21-19 but it was a close game. The audience here was enjoying the game and all of us was very 'gan jiong' until the end of the game.

Before leaving, I wanted to buy something

However it end up with going back empty handed because it was quite expensive for me to buy. But still I was enjoying the game here.

Honestly I really don't know anything about car modification. After I went to the International Extreme Autoshow at Stadium Putra, I thought I going to have better understanding about car modification but what I get is more confusing. I really don't know why some people like to turn their car into something weird, is not only weird but really very weird. However I think I still had learn few things about car modification from this autoshow.

Car modification is about painting.

The more complicated of your painting on the car, which mean your car is better.

Second is speaker

The bigger and more speaker that you can put into your car, it mean you car is much more better

The next thing is LCD screen.

The more LCD you can have in your car, it will make you car even better

You even can put it at the back so that you can entertain people behind

I really seldom celebrate Christmas but this year was a special year for me when I celebrated Christmas with some friends at the RoadHouse Grill Restaurant, which located at Jalan Ampang KL. We was having a Christmas dinner there, although it is not a luxury dinner but it was a wonderful and meaningful dinner for me.

Basically Roadhouse Grill is a bar and steakhouse restaurant.

Roadhouse Grill is having a Christmas dinner set at RM 49.90 ++ per person.

The set included a vegetables soup with cut cube celery, onion and carrot.

Apple pie with cream topping.

and you can choose either grilled chicken fillet with mushroom and BBQ sauce, seafood combination of salmon and tiger prawn with mango salsa cream sauce or their lamp and Riheye fillet.

Overall the food here is satisfy and I like their Lamp.

Last week was the Asean University Games which the badminton event was held at the Stadium Badminton Cheras.

I went there to watch the prize giving ceremony.

I had meet a lot of Malaysia's National Badminton Player like Abdul Latif, Hoon Thien How, Julia Wong, Woon Khe Wei, Lydiah Cheah, Tan Wee Kiong and many more.

Malaysia had emerge as champion in both Men's and Women's team event.

I always watch them play at TV but today I was so closed with them

Hoon Thien How previously was partner with Tan Boon Heong and currently he is partnering with Ong Soon Hock in Mens Double and Mix Double with Chin Eei Hui

Steven's Tea Garden at Jusco AU2

Steven's Tea Garden had open their second outlet at AEON Ampang AU2. Steven's Tea Garden is a cafe which serving mamak style food like roti canai and nasi lemak.

Basically the food at Steven's Tea Garden is similar to Steven's Corner but the choices here are lesser compare to Steven's Corner

The taste of the food also same with Steven's Corner but the price is higher here

Roti Kaya (RM 2.88) which only have Roti and Kaya.

Their roti telur also same price with roti kaya but they giving additional sambal

Their nasi goreng ayam (RM 7.88) is not bad but it doesn't make my stomach full. The rice are too liitle and the chicken also too small.

The nasi lemak rendang also quite nice but they put too much sambal on it.

Food at Steven's Tea Garden overall is good but I prefer eat at Steven's Corner because Steven's Corner is serving the same food with cheaper price.

Half Day Trip at Segenting, Batu Pahat

After attended a wedding dinner at Batu Pahat, we spend overnight there and my friend said he will take us for a visit around Batu Pahat. So I was thinking where he will bring us tomorrow and may be I can ask him to take me to the hotel where Dr Chua Soi Lek stay before. I heard people said the room which Dr Chua stay previously is now become a tourist spot. People purposely come to Batu Pahat just to stay at that room causing the room is much more expensive compare to other room.

In the end we din't went to that hotel but we went to Segenting, a chinese fishing village and we had visited a temple there.

The village is located about 10 KM from Batu Pahat town, although is far but everyday there are many people visiting that temple.

What so special about the temple is they have some Green Golden Fish and my friend told me if you can touch the fish from it's head to tail, it will bring good luck.

Actually I'm not very believing it but after I saw all the people here are so crazy about it, then I started to think may be it is true.

Is not easy to touch the fish but what I can tell you is these people will do anything to thouch the fish.

This temple is the main attraction in Segenting and it is worth to visit.

Besides temple, Segenting also have some very beautiful view.

Is very relaxing to watch the view here

You might consider to come here because here not only have some good view but also cheap seafood is available.

Ah Kok's Wedding at Batu Pahat

Yesterday I went to Batu Pahat, Johor to attend my friend's wedding.

We call him 'Ah Kok' and we used to stay in a same hostel when we were studying in UPM

A lot of my friends who i know when I was in UPM also attending the wedding, so it becoming a gathering dinner also.

The dinner should be start at 7.00pm and we reach there around 6.30pm. However only 8.05 it was started. Seem like 'late' is already become a very common culture in a chinese wedding dinner in Malaysia.

In chinese wedding, 'Kara OK' is a must as a entertainment.

Of course, it is not a perfect wedding without having a beer

Is very boring when we are waiting the next food to be serve and it also very painful when listening people singing 'Kara OK'. The only entertaiment I have is only looked around and oberseving 'hot chicks'

Without them, wedding is boring and meaninglees.

Of course it is not the main reason i attending a wedding.

Is because I wanted to sent my best wishes to my friend here.

People always said a friend din't come easy, so let us all cheer for our friendship.

The main focus on the day 2 of course is the Amber Chia Photo Shooting by Jen Siow. Jen Siow is a profesional photographer who specialising in traditional photography and applied digital imaging technology. Jen Siow had give some tips on how to take studio photo. However I wonder how many people was actually listen to Jen Siow because majority of the photographer was more focus on taking photo of Amber Chia. Besides Amber Chia, there was few others model who also performing a Fashion Show catwalk together with Amber Chia.

The KL Photography Festival 2008 was came to the end and i can't wait for KL Photography Festival 2009 which will held at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre.

Last week was the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival at Times Square. I went there with my cheap little camera and intended to take some model photo but when i reach there, i was shock and feel shy to take out my camera because all the camera there is professional camera with their long lens and big flash hanging on their camera. Finally when i took out my camera and ready to shoot, an uncle who standing beside me look at me and smile. Although he didn't said anything, i know he wanted to say 'boy, just go home and play with your toy'.

Last wednesday me and my friends decided to change our weekly badminton session venue from a primary school hall to Stadium Badminton Cheras because it was cheaper. For two and half hours, its only costs us RM 25 which compare to previous RM 36 for two hours. Besides the price, the other reason is the enviroment at Stadium Badminton Cheras is better, the light, court are better and even the changing room is much more clean and larger space.

Petaling Street or Jalan Petaling is well known as the Chinatown of Kuala Lumpur. However you can call it Chinatown ten years ago, today the Chinese in Petaling Street is getting lesser and I really not sure Chinatown is still appropriate for Petaling Street. When i went there few weeks ago, i really can't get any Chinatown feel but what i can see is a lot of Bangla, Indo and all kind of foreign labour, also some DBKL people standing there. I think less than 30% of the people in Petaling Street is Chinese.

From what I had see is 8 out of 10 stalls in Petaling street are using foreign labours. Some even leaving the whole stall to their foreign workers to take care. So will you call a place Chinatown when majority of the people are not chinese, or we should just call it international town or the Truly Asian street.
